A Texas native, Stephanie Hogue has lived in Southern California since moving west to attend the University of San Diego in 1987. While in college, she got her start in photography working on the campus newspaper shooting sporting events and a variety of news stories. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree from the highly regarded Brooks Institute of Photography in 1993, Stephanie settled in Oxnard, California, near the Channel Islands Harbor.

Since starting her photography venture, Stephanie has had the opportunity to photograph weddings, families, commercial jobs and political campaigns from coast to coast. Her work has graced the cover of Romantic Homes magazine as well as stories in In Style, People, Modern Bride and Inside Weddings and Your Wedding Day. In addition to editorial work, her images have been published in the nation-wide selling coffee table book, Weddings, A Celebration and many other publications.

In 2008, Stephanie was sought out to create images for John McCain’s presidential campaign. Images of John McCain were featured in his television ads and also at the Republican National Convention. Also in 2008, Stephanie photographed senators Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma for each of their Senate campaigns. In 2010 she created images for Ben Quayle, and Carly Fiorina- former CEO of Hewlett Packard.

More recently, Stephanie’s fine art work can be found at Latitudes Fine Art Gallery in the Ventura Harbor Village. Her photographic works are on display and available for private and public collections and exhibitions.

When Stephanie is not positioned behind the lens, she can be found a tennis court or golf course with her husband, Jim. They especially like to spend time on the Southern California beaches with their two Golden Retrievers.
